Having trouble with ideas? You can find inspiration by looking through some of our prompts, or you can reach out to us directly at blog@contactprojectlotus.org, where we can talk about and individualize your submissions!

Guidelines

400-2000 words

We will not post anything that is overly offensive or derogatory to any demographic, so we ask that you please follow these guidelines.

  1. Although we primarily receive submissions by youth (We still accept submissions from all ages), it is not okay to overly criticize adults without attempting to understand them. Our organization is focused on the mental health of all Asian Americans and bridging the gap between generations.

  2. Do not use any offensive language towards any race, gender, age.

  3. Do not involve another peer or member of the community unless you have permission, and we recommend that you change their name for privacy if they are unsure.

  4. Although we want you to get your voice out, we also want your blog to leave a meaningful impact on the community. Whether you educate others on lesser-known topics or give thoughtful advice to those in need, we recommend providing some way that the community can learn from the writing you share.
