Panelists

Emily Zou (she/her) is a junior at Lakeridge High School in Oregon. She’s a projects team member and podcast co-host at Project Lotus and is passionate about Asian American mental health due to her personal experiences. She's involved in a multitude of extracurriculars including speech and debate, student government, and other clubs and organizations. During her free time, you can find her trying new restaurants, watching the sunset with her friends, or binging Love Island.

Roshun Sunder is a college sophomore attending Columbia University, originally from Portland, Oregon. Coming from an Indian background, he’s excited to share his experience with the intersection between that background and various mental health issues

John Lee, LISCWJohn Lee is a counselor at Milton Academy (Milton, MA) for the Upper School, serves as a faculty mentor for their Asian Affinity Group, and coaches the Ultimate Frisbee team. Previously, he had a private practice in Chattanooga, TN where he specialized in working with children and adolescents, was a clinician at the South End Community Health Center (Boston, MA) where he worked primarily with Latinos, was an Emergency Psychiatric Clinician for McLean Hospital (Belmont, MA), and has had a variety of clinical experiences in other settings working with a diverse population. He received his Master’s of Social Work degree from Simmons University, and currently enjoys calling Milton Academy not only a place where he works, but also where he and his family calls “home.”
